Wet felted rug using Molly's black fiber and Clark Gable's white fiber

  • Well, it's summertime and often too hot, or in the case of this year, too rainy, to do much outside.  So, I've started making items for the Fall Festivals where we will be vendors.  Something new I'm working on is Rugs.  Purchased the "American Peg Loom" from Dee Dee & Bill Greer of Rivanna River Alpaca Farm.  It's fun to work with, and I get to use yarn that I've spun from some of our older males.  I'm also wet felting rugs.  We took a few to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival in May where they were well received. Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive.  07/16/2013
